The Messenger in the Quran was only told to follow Abaram’s characteristics/hallmarks (millat-a مِلَّةَ), being a truth seeker (hanif-an حَنِيفًا). Throughout the Quran, God has enumerated Abrahim’s characteristics in several verses in several places as relevant in the circumstances. In doing so, he was told not to worry about Abraham and his nation’s sunnah, behaviours, customs and traditions, because that nation passed away long ago. He was only told to be responsible for his own in time.

So, he was never told to follow Abraham’s sunnah as widely misunderstood and thus apocryphally followed Muhammad’s tradition, something that the followers of such unknown myths have no idea of. Therefore, like the Messenger of God who did never have to follow Abraham’s sunnah/tradition – he just had to bear in mind the characteristics/hallmarks (millat-a مِلَّةَ) of Abraham that God presented in the Quran. In a similar vein, it appears that no sunnat-al-rasu’l or sunnat-al/n-nabiyyi’n is ever to be found stating in the Quran at all. The submitters (muslimi’n) are only responsible for following the Sunnat-Allah as found in many places in the Quran, which God has told repeatedly.

In such a view, the Messenger in the Quran was instructed twice, concerning Abraham’s tradition as follows:

[Q. 2:134 & 2:141] “That nation has passed away. It will have what it earned, and you will have what you are to earn – and YOU WILL NOT BE ASKED ABOUT WHAT THEY USED TO DO”.

Thus, according to the words and instructions of God, all human sunnah, practice and custom are bound to be manmade as aided by the Satan, which the traders (religious scholars) on every religion propagate only to trade on their herd’s innocent fear of the unknown.

Then, what legend, legendary biography, the footstep of the so-called legendary Sahaba, Imam and apocryphal Ulama’ do we need?
