The word Quranist or Quraniyun is not that most of those who follow the Quran alone introduce themselves. These words are used derogatorily and sometimes inflicted acrimoniously by some Sunni/Shia/Ahmadi Muslim clergies and scholars, as they feel threatened of losing their trade on their brand Islam due to the rise of the true believers in the domain of the Deen. Of course, it is alarming for all religious traders and falsehood makers because God’s plan is inevitable — to replace all ingrates by the believers in God alone (see: Q. 5:54, 47:38, 39:65) to get the truth revealed, getting the falsehood departed (see: Q. 17:81). Accordingly, when they find the believers inviting them to believe in God alone, so as HIS Kita’b (see. Q. 17:46), they make this scathing attack on the submitters to God alone (see: Q. 39:45). They are anxious because their full scholarships and trades are about to burst, given that their full scholarships and fiqh on Persian Ktub-Al-Sittah hadith literature have been exposed as fallen foul.
The followers of the Quran do not belong to any sect in any of the sectarian religions, such as Shia, Sunni, Ahmadi, Ahl-e-Hadith, Ahl-e-Jamat, Wahabi, Sufi and whatever you name it. Like the Christians who do not realise that Jesus was not a Christian, and like the Jews who do not have an idea that Moses to John (Yahya), neither of them were Jews – the Sunni, Shia or whatever sects are prevailing, in the name of God’s System, do not want to think that neither Muhammad nor Abraham was a Sunni or a Shia, or a Salafi or a Wahabi, or a traditional hadith following Muslim.
So, as a follower of the Quran alone, I introduce myself as:
— in English expression — a submitter to God alone
— in Quranic Arabic expression — a muslim to God alone
(Muslim means a submitter to God)
For being a muslim to God, I am only allowed to follow the Quran, believing all other previous Scriptures were revealed by God, despite acknowledging that the contents of those were altered, interpolated, and mixed with some words from men. I only follow the Quran because the entire contents in it are the words of God. All other books in all other religions are not guaranteed as the actual words of God (Kala’m-Allah).
I only follow the Quran, because all other manmade books in the religion called Islam came from those six Persian men who lived in 9th century AD in Persia in Abbasid’s regime, who certified those Sihah-Sittah hadith books as ‘Sahih‘ (authentic), those of which were nevertheless never approved or authorised by God or HIS Messenger. I follow only the Quran because the Messenger of God delivered the Kita’b in the Quran for the people and his salvation, following God’s command. The Messenger of the Quran followed nothing but the Quran (see: Q. 6:50, 7:3, 7:203, 10:15, 46:9). So, I follow the footsteps of all the Messengers of God in following the messages they carried out and delivered to humanity for its salvation.
Hence, classifying those, who follow the Quran only, as a Quranist or Quraniyun in a derogatory or sarcastic term, one does only not do it to the Quran followers – s/he instead does classify the Messenger of the Quran as a Quranist, because he only followed the Quran, lived by the Quran and died with the Quran.
The question is whether وَأَطِيعُوا اللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُوا الرَّسُولَ ‘Obey God and Obey the Messenger’ is to obey the six Persian Kutub-al-Sittah Hadith books? هَاتُوا بُرْهَانَكُمْ إِن كُنتُمْ صَادِقِينَ – “Produce your proof if you are truthful” (see: Q. 2:111). Where is the proof? Find out just one verse in the Quran, by which, one can provide evidence that God tells us to follow any other book(s) other than the Quran. Find out any verse that clearly tells us to follow the library of voluminous books as created by some six Persian men at least after 230 years of the death of the Messenger of God. Find out in the Quran whether God has given any human any authority to make or author any book to assist and explain HIS Kita’b in the name of HIS Prophet’s sunnah and Hadith? The truth is that neither God nor HIS Messenger approved and authorised to create those Sihah-Sittah hadith books to place them beside the Kita’b-Allah.
In the Quran, sunnah is referred to as Sunnat-a-Allah — the law of God or HIS practice or HIS way of doing things or example. Nowhere in the Quran, Sunnat-a-Nabiyyun or Sunnat-e-Rasu’l-Allah is found. As for the apocryphal word ‘hadith’, nowhere in the Quran God has ever referred to the Hadith of the Prophet. In 39:23, God classifies Quran as the Best Hadith (Ahsanul Hadith) and those other Hadith in any other kinds of literature, God refers to in 31:6 as Baseless Hadith (Lahwal Hadith), and HE (God) asked: “what Hadith after the Quran they believe?” (See: Q. 7:185, 45:6, 77:50). Further, in rhetoric, the readers are asked in Q. 29:51 that isn’t the Quran sufficient that God revealed to HIS Messenger?
Should a believer in God being a true Muslim take a risk on his/her eternity and salvation to God by disobeying HIS command and HIS verses in the Quran as HE says that whoever does not judge by the Quran, s/he is a (1) disbelievers (الْكَافِرُونَ kafirun), (2) wrongdoers (الظَّالِمُونَ zo’limun), (3) disobedient ( الْفَاسِقُونَ fasiqu’n)? (see: 5:44, 5:45, 5:47, 5:48.)
In 45:11, God says: “Quran is guidance. Those who disbelieve in the verses will have a painful punishment”. Sorry to say, can anyone be a part of that disobedience by following stories, myths and ancient hearsays articulated by those six Persian men under the patronage of the Abbasid Dynasty. God orders not to pursue anything of what we’ve no knowledge of as our eyes, ears and heart all will be questioned and accountable on the day of resurrection (see: 17:36). So, the Messenger of God was told to say as:
“So shall I seek a judge (Hakaman) other than GOD while HE is the One who has revealed to you the Book explained in detail?” And those to whom We gave the Kita’b know that it has been revealed from your LORD in truth. So do not be of the doubters” (see: 6:114).
In 6:115, readers are told that ” God’s words are fulfilled in truth. None can alter HIS words”. The Messenger of God only followed what was revealed to him, i.e. the Quran (see: 10:15, 46:9, 6:50, 7:203). I obey the Messenger so as to obey God, because the Messenger (rasu’l) carried God’s messages (risa’la) to deliver, which (in the Quran) he delivered what has reached to us. True Muslims must follow the messages that the Messenger of God delivered by word to word. However, the majority of those Persian hadith followers are unable to find and locate the true tradition, God’s Sunnah, as those are contained in the Quran, narrated by God Himself, being classified as the Best (ahsanul) Hadith (39:23). Paradoxically, after all the warnings and confirmation of God to follow HIS revelations, the majority still seem not satisfied with the Quran as sufficient to satisfy God.
So, they (the majority) differ in that. But do they not hear the very essence of God’s commands and warnings in the Quran? Importantly, God says: “And if you obey the majority of those upon the earth, they will mislead you from the way of Allah . They follow nothing, but an assumption and they are not but falsifying” (See Q. 6:116). Taking heed of God’s guidance in the Quran, the followers of the Quran alone say, “We hear, and we obey” (2:285, 24:51) and say as the Messenger of God was told to say as: ” I only invoke my Lord and do not associate anyone with Him” (Quran: 72:50). As such, a true Muslim to God cannot associate manmade Sihah-Sittah books with the Kita’b-Allah. So, they (the Muslim to God) remind themselves and others as: “And who is better in speech than one who invites to Allah and does righteousness and says, “Surely, I am of the Muslims” (see Q. 41:33), and say as the Messenger of God was told to say as: “Say, “This is my way; I invite to God with insight, I and those who follow me. And exalted is God, and I am not of those who associate others with HIM” (see Q. 12:108).
Most importantly, God throws the rhetorical questions (inter alia) to those who associate other books with God; these are as follows:
- “And is it not sufficient for them that We revealed to you the Book which is recited to them? Indeed, in that is a mercy and reminder for a people who believe” (Quran: 29:51)
- “Then in what Hadith after the Quran they believe?” (Quran 77:50, also see: 7:185, 45:6).
Have those majority replied to God on these two questions? If they did, would they say that they need a library of other manufactured books because the Quran is not sufficient for them? If they have not answered yet, should they not prepare for the Day of Reckoning, when it is likely that they may encounter these questions before God, when no one or these Persian men and their sycophant religious scholars and clergymen will not be there to support them.
God has given the Kita’b as explained in the Quran, and one Path (Way, the Deen Islam), those six Persian men, the religious scholars and clergypersons have made God’s one Book in thousands of books and one Path (sira’t-al- mustaqi’m) into many hundreds.
Is it the Creator, the Almighty God, or those Persian men and their preachers, do they believe? Who would they obey and follow? So, decide who do you put your ultimate trust on. Is it God or men?
