Let’s take a parable and an anecdote as following: imagine, if I wish to give you anything and have given any such thing which you know very well and are aware of. In such a circumstance, would I say to you as: “He is great he who gave his friend to show him of his friendship”. It sounds abnormal, doesn’t it?
Or what about another friend to who I describe the same as follows: “He is great he who gave his friend to show him of his friendship”. Does it not sound normal?
Yet, read Quran 17:1-2, as given below:
[Q. 17:1-2] ” HE is Exalted who took HIS servant by night from the Sectioned Place of Submission (al-Masjid al-Ḥarām ٱلْمَسْجِدِ ٱلْحَرَامِ ) to the Distant Place of Submission (al-Masjid al-Aqṣā ٱلْمَسْجِدِ ٱلْأَقْصَا), whose surroundings WE have blessed, to show him of OUR signs. Indeed, HE is the Hearing, the Seeing — and We gave Mūsā the Kita’b and made it guidance for he children of Isrā’īl “Do not take anyone other than Me as guardian”.
Clearly, both 17:1-2, relates to Moses, which was described to the Messenger as a story of Moses from which he was meant to take heed and lesson for his mission. It was 9th century’s Persian Bukhari & co, who injected this concocted myths in the Deen by way of their fabricated ZOROASTRIAN ARDA VIRAZ story and named it as MIRA’J.
