There are some serious flaws in our character that can ruin our life in this world and the hereafter. Usually, with a little bit of wealth and temporary power, these behaviors of people are revealed
Sura Al-Baqarah 2: Ayat 264
O you who believe, you tap and pain by giving your sadaka rule Don’t. He is like one who spends his wealth to be seen and does not believe in Allah and the Last Day. Therefore his likeness is as the likeness of a smooth stone, over which is the earth. Then it rained heavily on it, so it made it very clear. They do not have the power to do anything through what they have achieved. And Allah does not guide the disbelieving people.
O ye who believe! cancel not your charity by reminders of your generosity or by injury, – like those who spend their substance to be seen of men, but believe neither in Allah nor in the Last Day. They are in parable like a hard, barren rock, on which is a little soil: on it falls heavy rain, which leaves it (Just) a bare stone. They will be able to do nothing with aught they have earned. And Allah guides not those who reject faith.

O you who believe, let no nation ridicule another community, perhaps they are better than ridiculers. And let no woman mock another woman, perhaps they are better than the mockers. And do not slander one another, and do not call one another by evil names. How bad is the evil name after faith! And those who do not repent are the wrongdoers.
O you who believe! Surely some conjecture is a sin. And do not inquire into secrets and do not backbite one another. Would any of you like to eat the flesh of his dead brother? You dislike it. And fear God. Surely Allah is Oft-returning (to mercy), the Merciful.
O ye who believe! Let not some men among you laugh at others: It may be that the (latter) are better than the (former): Nor let some women laugh at others: It may be that the (latter are better than the (former): Nor defame nor be sarcastic to each other, nor call each other by (offensive) nicknames: Ill-seeming is a name connoting wickedness, (to be used of one) after he has believed: And those who do not desist are (indeed) doing wrong.
O ye who believe! Avoid suspicion as much (as possible): for suspicion in some cases is a sin: And spy not on each other behind their backs. Would any of you like to eat the flesh of his dead brother? Nay , ye would abhor it… But fear Allah: For Allah is Oft-Returning, Most Merciful.

the earth does not come to boast; You will never be able to crack the earth, nor will you ever reach the heights of the mountains.
Nor walk on the earth with insolence: for thou canst not rend the earth asunder, nor reach the mountains in height.

‘You can not take away your face from the people. And do not walk proudly on the earth. Surely Allah does not love any arrogant boaster.
‘And be moderate in your walk, lower your voice; Surely the worst of voices is the voice of a donkey.
”And swell not thy cheek (for pride) at men, nor walk in insolence through the earth; for Allah loveth not any arrogant boaster.
And be moderate in thy pace, and lower thy voice; for the harshest of sounds without doubt is the braying of the ass. ”

ldhyn ybkhlwn wyamrwn lnas No calamity befalls on the
earth or among yourselves that which has been recorded in the Book before it has taken place. That is easy for God.
So that you do not regret what you have lost, and do not rejoice over what He has given you. GOD does not love the arrogant.
Those who are niggardly and instruct people to be niggardly, and whoever turns away, then indeed, Allah is Free of want and Praiseworthy.
No misfortune can happen on earth or in your souls but is recorded in a decree before We bring it into existence: That is truly easy for Allah:
In order that ye may not despair over matters that pass you by, nor exult over favors bestowed upon you. For Allah loveth not any vainglorious boaster, –
Such persons as are covetous and commend covetousness to men. And if any turn back (from Allah’s Way), verily Allah is Free of all Needs, Worthy of all Praise.
